Aminas’s Karavane Uyghur Culture Night
Uyghur folkloric dance festival in Bülach with show on the 14th June 2024, focussing on dance, music, cuisine and costumes of the Silk Road.
Six years have already past since our first cultural dance event. Last year in summer we had the priviledge to hold the fifth edition of our event, which - thanks to all the volunteers and helpers - ended up to be a huge success.
For our coming event im Summer 2024 we are planning an additional exhibit of performances with our teachers and dance students on Friday evening of June 14th as an Uyghur culture night. Being a dancer of Uyghur origin, this is a dream come true for me. During that evening instead of just focussing on dancing we will focus on Uyghur folklore as a whole, with its many facets including music, instruments, traditional clothes & handmade costumes as well as cuisine from the heart of the Silk Road, telling the story of the Uyghur people and their many ways of living.
